Council’s Draft 2020/21 Operational Plan is now on public exhibition with submissions invited from the community.
The Operational Plan sets out the projects and activities which Council is committed to over the coming financial year, with measures, time frames, and responsibilities identified.
Council’s General Manager Brad Cam said earlier this year the community was invited to put forward their budget proposals to be included in the draft operational plan.
“Thank you to all the residents that took the time to submit their proposals, once again we received a good response from the community,” Mr Cam said.
“These proposals were considered and some have been incorporated into the draft operational plan.
“We’re now inviting the community to review the plan and consider what Council is committing to for the upcoming financial year.”
The plan is available to view online at Council’s website or at https://yoursay.midwestern.nsw.gov.au/ where feedback can also be submitted.
Submissions close Friday, 15 May.

Council has commenced its budget planning for the next financial year and is encouraging residents to submit proposals as part of the process.
Residents can put forward Community Plan Proposals for new infrastructure, projects, activities and improvements throughout the region to be considered in the Operational Plan 2020/21.
The Operational Plan sets out the projects and activities which Council is committed to over the coming financial year, with measures, time frames, and responsibilities identified.
The plan includes Council’s Revenue Policy (Rating Model), 2020/21 proposed Fees and Charges, Capital Works program, Annual Budget and Delivery Program.
Council’s General Manager, Brad Cam said this is the community’s chance to let Council know what projects and activities they’d like to see.
“If you’d like to see investments in public facilities, improvements to neighbourhood footpaths, shade sails over your local playground, more public toilets or you’d like to give feedback on Council’s Rating Model – now is your chance to have your say,” Mr Cam said.
Proposals close Friday 31 January.
